Origami Dress and Coat Tutorial

Easter was a magical time for me as a child. It meant family outings, baskets full of goodies, egg hunts and and pretty dresses. Easter meant the coming of spring and summer. The world was becoming green and colorful again. It was time to start everything new. An origami dress and coat folded out of the right paper reminds me of a more innocent time.

In honor of Easter and spring time, I created a video tutorial on how to fold a fancy origami dress and coat with beautiful Japanese washi papers. I made several into a pretty garland and hung it in my laundry room. You can make one for a childs bedroom or spring party!
